'Follow along on the first part of our trip as we travel first class on Korean Airlines from San Francisco to Seoul (then on to Auckland). We enjoyed a 36 hour layover in Seoul staying in the Myeongdong area and trying to brave the freezing cold for our love of street food (and apparently strange cosmetics). We had a great \"hike\" up to Seoul Tower to warm us up on a cold morning. Notes from the experience: *The Korean Air First Class Kosmo 2.0 suites are awesome, however the service and food left a lot to be desired. \"hard product 10/10, soft product 5/10\" *All of the restaurants we went to in Seoul were fantastic while the street food wasn\'t so much. It was all interesting stuff, but the flavor and quality didn\'t compare to other street food we\'ve had. *Seoul in the winter is BITTER cold. Bring more clothes! We wore 2 pair of pants, 4 shirts, 3 socks, etc... & were still frozen. Maybe combining a 36 hour stop in a cold destination with 3 weeks in a warm one wasn\'t so smart!'
