'It’s generally acknowledged that to reach Zero Hunger, or SDG-2 as it’s known, nations must tackle hunger in all its forms. That includes hidden hunger – where people might have full stomachs, but are seriously lacking in nutrients and micronutrients. This can result in stunting and other health related issues. In South Asia, undernourishment is a major contributor. In Bangladesh, the UN’s Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) through the Meeting the Undernutrition Challenge (MUCH) project is working with government, research institutes and major resource partners, with funding from the USAID and the European Union, to rapidly increase awareness about healthy diets and improved nutrition starting with the country’s youth.
