A fly lays eggs which turn into larvae (maggots) than become files. Flies are laying eggs and turn into maggots in few days after lays an egg. Flies lays a hundred of eggs inside the Trans at a time, they will begin to hatch within a day. Mostly a female lives around one month and she could lay from 500-2000 eggs. The maggots grow to be 20 mm. However, usually we can see them in first stage around 3-10 mm long and whitish in color. Maggots feed for 3-5 days after that it takes to 14- 36 days for the eggs to morph into flies. Mostly fly will lay eggs anywhere it feels like the maggots will be grow fast and safe. Why we can see so many of them in trash can or rotting food because the maggots want to eat no stop. We can prevent flies and maggots, always clean any food and to open the trash or leave any food outside. Sometimes flies will lay eggs on your pet’s food as well make sure to change their food fully every day. How to get rid of maggots and flies?
