'Since reading a lot of information and been advised by numerous different people, it is becoming an inescapable truth that diet plays a major role in chronic health conditions. In particular, the state of your gut microbiome (see my first video). Essentially, the more diverse and healthy your gut flora is, the healthier you will be. To achieve a healthy gut flora, first one must remove things that feed that bad bacteria (like sugar, alcohol, refined carbs etc) and increase the diversity of our food to encourage a range of good bacteria to then multiply and outcompete the invasive guys. As your gut, and your immune system is most likely compromised with a chronic illness, removing all toxins that could add further work to your already tired body needs to be removed or at least reduced. That is why going as organic as possible is incredibly important. Also, investing in a regular veg box encourages you to eat everything in your box. You try new things and most of all, everything in the veg box will most likely lead to you having healthier gut bacteria :)'
