'Nancy Aburto, Deputy Director, Food and Nutrition Division, Food and Agriculture Organization, explains how school meals programs can benefit local agriculture and farmers and support markets.  \"Cambodia, where 267 schools in 7 provinces enlist the support of 665 farmers for the school meals programs. With additional funds, the school meals programs are also expanding the local procurement approach to another 131 schools. The school meals program will reach at least an estimated 80 suppliers and 400 producers, of which 47%, almost half, are women. And finally, it will reach almost 46,000 pre and primary age children over the age of 3 with healthy nutritious diets. \"'
