'Red wigglers are my absolute favorite garden friends and I love treating them to their favourite snacks - water melon rinds , musk melon rinds and pumpkin rinds and they love it and go to party !! ♦️Its peak summer and I\'m giving them fruit peels? Complete contrast to my summer worm bin video ? Yes . Reason ?? - the set up is completely different , this is my ginger grow bag , plenty of gulmohar leaf mulch and the peel is placed on top , melting away slowly and the worms have gathered underneath , protected from light and enjoying the decomposing water melon juices . They have plenty of room to move away in this 2 ft * 1 ft grow bag , good ventilation . Not heat generated inside the grow bag as the water melon is placed on top . ♦️ This is probably doable in grow bags or pots in your setups , if you do try , let me know how it goes as it is pretty cool to have automatic vermicompost for your plants .
