'Worm castings are the richest natural fertilizer known to humans. ... Worm Castings are packed with minerals that are essential for plant growth, such as concentrated nitrates, phosphorus, magnesium, potassium and calcium. Source 2 totes or large containers or your choice . Drill holes on bottom of one tote for worm tea seepage. Drill 4 holes on each side 6 inches from the top for air. Source 2 pieces of wood or bricks to elevate one of the totes. Add 6 to 8 inches of Coco coir. Place shredded newspaper on top along with food scraps/grass clippings or whatever you’re using to feed your worms. Place the worms into the tote and let the natural light force them into the bedding . Add more wet shredded newspaper on top as soon as the worms settle in .
