'The FAO project “Strengthening food security and nutrition in the Caucasus and Central Asia” has proven to be an innovative initiative that is concretely contributing to the eradication of poverty, food insecurity and malnutrition of the most vulnerable communities in the region. Funded by the Russian Federation, the project is working through 6 pilot initiatives in Armenia, Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan. Each pilot is providing good practices that local governments are seeking to scale-up in national policies and programmes.
