'Hi. This is Rene with Reality of Aging and today\'s subject is going to be food. Is it poison or is it medicine? Well, the fact of the matter is it\'s both. There\'s two parts to food. It\'s either a poison or it\'s a food. There is no middle ground. There\'s just levels of poison and levels of, basically, medicine. Your food will heal you from your ailments. Your food will cause you ailments. It\'s up to you to decide what you want to do. And the simple fact of the matter -- and this is how we break it down, so you now know from here on out what is a food and what is a poison. All pro-inflammatory foods are a poison. So, what are the pro-inflammatory foods? Well, they sit in three categories -- alcohol, sugar, and starches. No matter what anybody tells you for the rest of your life, it is the facts. These three things react as a poison. They cause inflammation and when that inflammation is created in your body, especially in your intestinal track where 80% of your immune system is, that inflammation breaks down your immune system. So, ask yourself this question: if anything breaks down my immune system, can we call it a poison? Absolutely. We have to call it a poison because your immune system is what heals you. So, if that inflammation is being caused by these pro-inflammatory foods, it\'s a poison. Now, the other foods that aren\'t pro-inflammatory would be green vegetables, proteins, fats, and fruits. Eat those and you have the medicine for your body because your body requires nutrients and if it has these nutrients, the immune system becomes stronger, in turn, healing you. So, it\'s a type of medicine. Let\'s not have any confusion from here on out. Food is medicine and food is a poison, but the good thing about it is that you get to choose what you eat. I\'m asking you to do the right thing. But, from here on out, you\'re going to do whatever you want to, right? Do the right thing, though.'
