'Zongzi is a must-have at the traditional Dragon Boat Festival in China. The dumpling is prepared at home and sold by vendors during the festival, so it is a very special seasonal treat. There are sweet and savory variations, but they all share the same base ingredient (sticky rice) and process of stuffing ingredients inside of leaves (such as bamboo leaves) before being boiled in hot water.
