'Reliance Industries Limited (RIL) has issued a statement dispelling rumours that it is placed to benefit from the new farm laws. The conglomerate said that it has no plans of entering contract or corporate farming business. RIL added that it has never bought agricultural land for corporate farming or contract farming and had no plans to do so in the future. The company said it does not purchase food grains directly from farmers but from suppliers.
