'Get it here: http://btprt.dj/2glczrj \"The EP was composed in Spring in my studio in Geneva, located in an old factory (L\'Usine Kugler) at the edge of the river \"Rhone\". To be more precise the building is at the junction of the river Rhône and the river L\'Arve. A unique and magical place.” We can only assume that the peace and serenity of the setting ensured that Rejected debutant, Dachshund, was in complete harmony with his musical machinery. Because whilst we might anticipate beautifully angelic and ethereal lifters, we are in fact treated to a trio of uncompromising techy treats. First up is ‘Another Step’, exuding a garage flavour whilst driven by its four to floor beat and stabbing synth. A perfect hors d’oeuvre ahead of our second, weightier helping, ‘Food Coma’. Similar ingredients, but this time we\'re treated to some added punch from the kick-drum and an electrifying bass line pulse. Final cut ‘Monotype’ belies its name as it steps away from the blueprint of our previous brace to present a melodic finalé of cascading synths and bubbling beats.
