'I love a great deal and this time we found bags of mandarin oranges for only $2.50 each. We decided to freeze-dry some and bottle the rest. The freeze-dried mandarin oranges were absolutely delicious. We only used a little bit of honey in the bottled oranges. They had a slightly bitter aftertaste. I think that the freeze-dried mandarin oranges make a fantastic snack but I probably wouldn\'t freeze-dry them for long-term storage. They take up a bit of space but they sure are delicious!
