'Ful is a very satisfying breakfast meal that is eaten in Ethiopian and other parts of the world. It’s cheap, nutritious and easy to prepare. Growing up in Ethiopia, it was one of my favorite breakfast meals. If it’s your first time preparing Ful go with the canned fava beans and use simple ingredient ( I suggest tomato, onions and garlic). As you get used to cooking it you may expand the flavor by adding other ingredients and seasonings to your liking. There are various ways of cooking Ful as this is my version. Keep in mind that I don’t measure most of the ingredients as I eyeball my cooking and add stuff that I like to taste. For example, I like lots of onions and tomatoes so I use them in larger quantities. I suggest you just go for it and adjust amounts of ingredients as you go. Ingredients: Onion Garlic Fresh tomatoes Olive oil Coriander Cumin Turmeric Ethiopian Berbere Oil Salt to taste For toppings you can use whatever you like. I used: Green and red onions Cilantro Green chili pepper Cucumber and Tomatoes All chopped. I suggest beef jerky, boiled or scrambled eggs, cheese, tuna, etc. Please feel free to comment and send me questions or recommendations. Thank you ❤️
