'Stardew Valley 439 :: Cooking with Qi Seasoning'

28:12 Mar 2
'After waking up, we gather the ingredients to cook some extremely lucky foods! We use Qi Seasoning to further increase their luck bonus! In the afternoon, we consume the dishes and build a path to the Skull Cavern! We complete the Skull Cavern Invasion quest but the immense luck bonus does not seem as helpful as we had hoped! Getting out of bed, we harvest some tea leaves! At the furniture catalogue, we take out a modern bench for the quarry! We proceed to harvest more garden pot crops! After checking our quests, we turn on the television and look at our calendar! Our daily luck is not too good today. Brewing some tea, we collect a lucky lunch from Krobus! We head outside into another beautiful spring day and collect the radioactive bars! Getting on our horse, we gather the ingredients to cook lucky lunches, spicy eels, and ginger ale! When we are done, we head to the quarry and place down the modern bench at the side! The last mahogany tree has not yet grown, so we teleport back to the farm! In our kitchen, we cook up a large feast with our bottles of Qi Seasoning! The seasoning helps to boost the buffs of dishes cooked with it! By accident, we also make a gold-quality tortilla! It does not offer any buffs, but the Qi Seasoning enhances the amount of health and energy that it restores! We keep all of the seasoned foods in the corner chest before teleporting outside! Clearing our inventory, we head down to the pen of animals to visit them for the day! We make more cheese and store away the animal products. Then, we collect some tea leaves! We also collect the common mushrooms from the tappers and head into the slime hutch! After gathering blobs of slime, we collect the sap from the mahogany tree tappers! In the shed of crystalariums, we walk around to collect the diamonds. Then, we collect the mushrooms and the tree fruits! We keep our items in our chests. Breaking the crystalariums at the storage area, we place them down again to reset their timers, synchronising them with the ones in the shed! In the farmhouse, we hug our housemate! At the bus stop, we speak to Pam before collecting more diamonds at the quarry! Harvey, Maru, Kent, and Penny have taken the day off today! We speak to them at Ginger Island before checking on our island farm. We collect the bananas and the mangoes! Slaying the tiger slimes, we dig up some fresh ginger before speaking to Birdie! We teleport home and keep our items. Adding lava eel roe to the preserves jars, we take out our lucky dishes! Keeping away our tools, we eat the food and switch to the napalm ring! We craft some cobblestone paths and stepping stones before going to the desert! Collecting coconuts and cactus fruit, we build a new path to the Skull Cavern entrance! A palm tree blocks our way, and we teleport home to grab our iridium axe! We return to the desert and decorate the cobblestone path with stepping stones at the sides! We cut down the tree before completing the path and heading into the Skull Cavern! Placing down staircases, we skip the first few floors! We find a treasure chest on floor 17, nice! We mine ores that are close to the ladder as we descend. On floor 34, we see a large clump of gold ore rocks and we harvest all of it with the napalm ring\'s effect! On floor 37, we find another treasure chest! Despite having a significant luck buff, we are not seeing anything too unusual in the mines! We continue to descend, slaying a giant purple slime on floor 48 to get some Qi Gems, and finding another chest on floor 53! Without any speed boosts, we realise that it is quite difficult to evade the monsters! After finding a white turban in a chest on floor 86, we break a rock and find a shaft! Reaching floor 100 slightly past 10 pm, we complete the Skull Cavern Invasion quest! Great! Continuing to descend, we slay a few purple bats on floor 103 and take quite a bit of damage! We place down a mega bomb on floor 110 to collect some iridium! On floor 112 and 113, we get some bonus coal from the satchels! We decide to throw away some items to free up inventory space! Noticing a green rock on level 114, we mine our first radioactive ore node! We get more radioactive ore on floor 117. Getting annoyed at our slow movement speed, we take some triple shot espresso on floor 119 which removes the luck buff from the ginger ale! We see many iridium ore nodes on floor 120, and we set off another mega bomb! We find a chest on floor 137 with some cherry bombs, as well as a shaft! We manage to reach floor 146 before we are forced to teleport home and sleep! The effect of the luck buffs was disappointing, but we still gathered a decent amount of resources!
