'Check it out here! http://bit.ly/Abeego_Beeswax Recently i came across these reusable beeswax food wrap and i just thought it was such an amazing concept so I wanted to try it out myself! The beeswax works like saran wraps except that they have special properties that makes food breathable so they stay fresh longer…and u get to reuse them so that’s pretty cool! What really sold me on the idea was that u can store your half cut avocado in the fridge for days and it’ll stay green..so i decided to buy 6 small pieces from Abeego (which is Canadian brand btw) to give it a try. When I took them out of the box, u can really smell the wax…but the food u wrap them in luckily doesn’t smell like that. I immediately tried out the avocado and the next day… it did turn a bit brown so i was a bit disappointed at that but it could be maybe that I didn’t wrap it properly so it still got in contact with air. I’ll definitely try that again to test it out. However, I do love using this to wrap my fruits because it doesn’t dry up…I wrapped up half an orange for days and it was just as tasty! They also suggest using it to wrap around half cut veggies like cucumbers for instance or if you buy a bigger piece, you can wrap your sandwich to bring to lunch. It’s really easy to use, you’re able to fold the beeswax and keeps it in place due to the heat produced by your hands…and to wash it, soap and cold water will do the trick! Overall, I do find these quite useful to have around the kitchen and plus, you’re helping the environment by minimizing the use of plastic so I do think it’s worth it! Thanks for watching and hopefully you’ll find it useful…feel free to check out my other videos!'
