'The Story of FOOD NOT BOMBS, Part One'

22:24 Aug 22, 2023
'Keith McHenry, co- founder of FOOD NOT BOMBS, told the story of the organization to Occupy El Paso and other El Paso activists and community organizations on 12-12-11. In the 1980s Keith was an art student and produce worker as well as a student of Howard Zinn. It didn\'t take long for him to put to good use the produce that was thrown out each day. He started feeding the homeless. As the organization developed and food was collected from all over, Keith was arrested, fined and jailed many times. Hear this amazing story of one man\'s dream that reached out and touched the world. FOOD NOT BOMBS now has chapters all over the planet.'
