Gauri Devidayal and her husband Jay Yousuf started their food entrepreneurial journey with their first venture \'The Table\' in Colaba, Mumbai. The concept of having a \'Community Table\' is the core theme of the restaurant. The instant success pushed Gauri to leave her full-time role with Pricewaterhouse Coopers and pursue their culinary journey. The Table has over the years been recognised as one of the best fine-dine experience restaurants in South Bombay. Gauri Devidayal and Jay Yousuf have also set up \'The Table Farm\' in Alibaug which supplies the finest produce to their restaurant.
